Scenario: You have an employee who thinks she is productive but is not very organized. Cindy regularly wastes time because she can’t find where she stored a document. She recreates documents from nothing rather than creating a library of components that she could more quickly pull together. She has a to-do list that she rarely gets done and therefore rewrites many of her to-dos every day. She leaves many of her emails in her inbox which she scans several times a day to see what is most urgent and in need of her attention. You want to hire more people in the department but first have to prove to your boss that you’ve done all you can to make Cindy as productive as possible.
