Great leaders stimulate engagement by finding the right balance between giving employees too much and too little to do. Too little to do or unchallenging work leaves employees bored. Too much to do or insufficient resources leaves employees overwhelmed.

When leading employees in work, I find myself giving:
Scenario: Your company recently completed an employee survey. Your team rated you low in four areas. Since you went to the trouble to ask for your employee’s opinions and they gave them to you, you owe it to them to address their concerns. You are going to create an action plan to address each area they highlighted as a concern.
